Arizona man shoots own phallus with gun

Arizona man Joshua Seto was rushed to hospital after shooting his phallus with a loaded pink pistol that was placed in his pants.

Seto suffered the horrific yet bizarre injury in a supermarket car park when he attempted to pack fiancée Cara Christopher's gun in the front of his trousers.

The loaded pink pistiol discharged as he approached a fast food restaurant and according to local police, the round 'passed through his penis and exited out the back of his left groin'.

Seto's bride-to-be applied immediate first aid and in a released recording of her 911 emergency phone call, she said: 'He's still coherent and everything but he's bleeding quite a lot.'

Ambulance workers arrived shortly after the call and rushed the bleeding man to hospital where he received emergency surgery.

Arizona is known to have some of the most relaxed gun laws in the whole of the United States and is known as a 'gold star' open carry state.

Only partial restrictions apply on carrying weapons and people can choose to conceal their gun pending a licence
