In Loving Memory

Of

Marcos Ruiz

October 8th, 1975 - April 14th, 1994

My best friend Marcos Ruiz was murdered on April 14th, 1994. He was born on October 8th, 1975. He was the type of person who would do anything for his friend's or family.

At the time of his murder he was babysitting  his younger brother. He and another friend, Rhonda Calvert were downstairs when the guy came to the house and murdered them both.

The only good thing is that the killer never knew there was another person in the house at the time. Marcos and Rhonda were found by Marcos' father when he got home from work that morning.

Their killer's name is Robert McIntyre. He has been caught and is now serving 2 life sentences in an Indiana state prison.

Memories

Memories respond to invitations,
Electing in their interests to attend.

Moments of remembrance moor sensations
On shadows shifting gently in the wind.

Remember to remember, then, those passed
In whom we vested hope in days of strife,

Again among the trenches, dropping fast,
Lost now to love as once they were to life.

Do honor them with rituals that last,
A list of names reduced to battered brass
Yet hallowed by a hell we cannot end.

CrimeShots © is a digest compiled from a broad spectrum of opinion, news, and media resources.

CrimeShots © cares about victims. Oftentimes, after a murder is committed, the killer is arrested and all the attention suddenly focuses solely on him/her. The victim is soon forgotten. Most of us know the names of many notorious killers, however, it is quite likely that we could name only a very few of their victims. To forget them is heartbreaking, especially for their families.

--May We ALL Remember The Victims ALWAYS--

and

--May They All Rest In Peace, FOREVER-

It's the action, not the fruit of the action,
that's important. You have to do the right thing.
It may not be in your power, may not be in your time,
that there'll be any fruit.
But that doesn't mean you stop doing the right thing.
You may never know what results come from your action.
But if you do nothing, there will be no result.
